February 5 on 5 is here! I can’t believe January is gone. Wow! that flew by. I thought I’d be better starting the year taking images. I have to admit, I’ve been slacking. The images below are defnitely my fav for the month. In Indiana we had a good two weeks at least when the fog rolled over and never left. When it first came I wanted to utilize it. The only way my oldest would cooperate was if he could wear his Halloween custom to the beach. Yep, my boys LOVE to dress up! SO, I was not going to deny him. The fog was so heavy you could not even see the water when we walked up to the beach. It was crazy, but love that I captured him this way!

We also had an ice storm. Yes, there were thunderstorms, lightning, and freezing rain with dropping temperatures all in one night! What did I do since I did not go to work? I practiced with my macro lens on our rose bushes. There was ice on everything! I love macro, but have only used it in my newborn images. This is something I need to do more 🙂
